I was a little leary with the first two episodes...but as of now I am 100 percent satisfied in exclaiming my joy in having Jack Bauer back in action!!

The run and gun days are over, it is now time for stop and pop, I'm absolutely loving the concept of taking cover in this game. The simplicity of just needing to really worry about one button (A button) to take care of all your cover options works very smoothly, and leaves you plenty of time to focus on taking out the enemy rather then trying to remember what does what.

And I swear to the gods I let out a holler when I was online and chainsawed my first victim, add to that the ability to curb stomp your opponent when he's down to finish him off, and you discover really that that's what Gears Of War is all about.
No doubt in my mind - this is the game of the year.

Also, while I was at the store getting Gears, I picked up the wireless headset/mic that was just released. Its pretty slick, waaaaaay overpriced - but hey, it makes me feel like Jack Bauer while I wear it, and thats worth the price in itself.Over all though the headset works as good (if not better) as the wired set that comes with the Xbox 360.
EDIT -- Upon further use, I have sadly discovered this mic a shameful rip-off from Microsoft. I payed 70 freaking dollars and the bloody thing screams feedback and distortion into the ears of whoever happens to be at the receiving end. 80% of the time I end up having to switch to my default wired mic/headset.

Well...not the Robocop, but Peter Wellers...the actor! He was in the film Leviathan as well, one of those cool underwater monster, beat the shit outta scientist movies!
Anyways, I just wanted to express my delight at having Robocop in one of my TV shows....especially since i didnt know it was going to happen...so total treat, eh!

A movie based on the Fox series '24' is in the works according to the Calgary Sun. Whether it will be shot in real-time though is still up for consideration, says the show's Canadian director/producer Jon Cassar."The last I heard, the first hour will not be in real-time, but then something big will happen and real time will kick in. It still has to be worked out -- it's at a stage where they need to write it" said CassarHe will not predict a storyline for the big screen version of the hugely popular show. He says the script will likely depend on what's happening on the series prior to the movie coming out. "It could still be two years from now, so it's far too early to say," he says, adding even if he did know, he wouldn't give it away.
While the thing that draws me to 24 is the episodical content that keeps me wanting more and more from week to week, I have to admit that a movie would be kinda cool. Unless of course they screw it all to hell like they did with the X-Files big screen adaptation.

Easily my favorite season of them all.
I was spellbound by the last two episodes, what an incredible way to bring things to a close.

I cant wait to see what reasons they have for getting a hold of Jack and bringing him back into the fold for season five. I felt so bad for Jack as he got out of the car with Tony. After all he has done, he is just thrown out into the cold. And right after Claudia leaves him like that. Rough. But fitting for the kind of man that Jack is. And holy crap...That assassin chick that took Tony hostage in the apartment complex...Freaking hot. I hope they bring her back in. I also thought it was pretty cool that she was the same person that attempted the assassin on President Palmer at the end of season 2
