B.S.G.

With the goodness of 24 back on the air and now having battlestar Galactica finaly finishing off its season ,all seems right in my little T.V. universe.

BSG kicked things off with a pretty explosive episode and I am super pumped to see this thing through to the end.

Kinda sad though, knowing that its all coming to a close.

So, here's to the fifth...whoever you are. May your presence soon be fully known and may you bring us to a place we can finaly call home.

And so say we all!

Battlestar Galactica S03E04

Holy hell.

So with the end of season 2 all that we knew Battlestar wise was pretty much thrown out the window. We were left with a 'what the fuck' kind of feeling.

Now season three is four episodes deep, and I gotta say that I don't think life would be even remotely as beautiful if I didn't have Battlestar Galactica in it. The twists the turns...the 'holy shit did they really just do that's'...this show has all of it and more in spades. I love what they did with Starbuck at the end with the kid...and i love what they did with Saul and his wife.

Insane freaking episode! Eat your hearts out you filthy, fraking, toasters!!

Anyways...Check out the song: A New Crew In Town. Funny stuff...

A little ramble if you please.

He has this little sideways jump that always makes me laugh out loud. He'll look me straight in the eye and with no regard for his safety he will just jump up in the air and land where ever gravity is intent on sending him. the whole while he has this air of pure energy and satisfaction with his existence about him. For just one afternoon I would love to trade lives with my ferret, Oy.

I have discovered that with my new laptop and a wireless Internet connection I can blog and poo at the same time. Don't panic, I took a poo this afternoon so this post is feces free.

Last week at my work (a hospital) we had a mock code black test. Code black is a missing person alarm that they announce over the loudspeaker thingie. To do this they asked one of the residents if she would like to participate. they took 93 year old Mrs. Johnson in her wheel chair down to the basement an locked her in an electrical room for 40 minutes. Am I the only one that is struck a little odd over this? O_o

I have two more episodes left to finish off Battlestar Galactica season 2. with my desktop on the fritz I was unable to finish off the season when it was airing, since I got my laptop I have been playing catch up. This show blows me away. When I start an episode I'm all chill, laid back on my bed comfy and cozy like, but by the time the show ends I oft find myself sitting upright leaning closer and closer to the screen hanging on every word spoken. Intense would be an understatement.

And with that, I think I will go check those last two episodes out. :)

Battlestar Galactica Season 2.

The release for season two of Battlestar Galactica has been announced. This time around North America will have the first viewing rights as opposed to the UK airing season one first.

July 15th the goodness kicks off. With the way season 2 ended I am very much looking forward to finding out what is going to happen. :)

Wow...I cant believe it's over already!

"The Cylons were created by man. They Rebelled. They Evolved. They look and feel Human. Some are programmed to think they are human. There are many copies. And they have a plan."

Wow...Just caught episode 13 which is the season finale for this new refited television show. I can honestly say that I was not really all that hyped when I heard about the mini series they were releasing for Battlestar, but I ended up watching it anyways and thank god for that.

Then I heard that since the mini was so successful they were going ahead and giving it a weekly televised run. To my surprise I discovered that the show was already airing in the UK and I immediately began downloading them.

Funny...The season has already finished airing there and here in North America we are on what? Episode 2 or 3?

Anyways the two part final was awesome...Very tense and theres a great little surprise at the end of the final episode..Well I don't know if great is the right word...But it was an awesome way to close off the season. I will most definitely be back for season 2 and you can bank on the fact that I will be picking it up on DVD as well.

Its the grittiness of the whole thing. Its wonderfully fun sci-fi but yet at the same time somehow the writers manage to bring the show to a human level and give us the viewers something that we can really relate to. Obviously we aren't being chased around by Cylons, but the interactions of the characters in this show bring things down to a base human experience and present to us stories that are actually very relevant to where we are as a human race today.

Anyways...I'm sad that I have finished this first season, but look very very forward to seeing what is in store for us come season 2.

Now get the frak outta here!
