To be or not to be...how is one simple man living in the frozen wastes supposed to make life altering decisions such as these?

So I was at Blockbuster today returning games that I had for like almost a month and a half (gods bless the two dollar restocking fee), and I was all of a sudden confronted with a dilemma of despicable cruelty!

What system do I rent for? I wanted to rent Devil May Cry 4, and my immediate reaction was to get it for my PS3 since its newer and I haven't fondled it enough yet. But then if I rent it for the PS3 I don't receive any achievement points for my gamer score on my 360!

Wait a second...! When did I start giving a fuck about my 360 gamer score!? O_0

Microsoft you sneaky bastards...you did it!

I care! I admit it! I bloody well care about my gamer score! I accept it and bow in defeat!

Let all those to cool for school punks out there that only own a PS3 keep saying that gamer score is lame! They know not what they speak!

The desire and primal urge to drive my gamer score higher and higher at every opportunity I get is likened to my life long desire of riding naked through a forest of cupcakes on the back of a Unicorn made of rainbows!

I just cant help myself.

I don't have a brilliant score or anything...but I have discovered that it does indeed tip the scales a lot on which system I now buy my games for.

So ya...I rented DMC4 for the 360 and I rented Lair for the PS3.

I'm fully aware that Lair got pretty much shit on in reviews, but cmon...

YOUR A FREAKING DRAGON!!

How cool is that? I gotta at least check it out.

Leafy Sea Dragons.

"Named after the dragons of Chinese mythology, Leafy seadragons (Phycodurus eques) resemble a piece of drifting seaweed as they float in the seaweed-filled water. The Leafy seadragon, with green, orange and gold hues along its body, is covered with leaf-like appendages, making it remarkably camouflaged. Only the fluttering of tiny fins or the moving of an independently swiveling eye, reveals its presence."

Dragon-licious!

I first saw it the other day when I was at the grocery store, it was in the produce section where I was picking up a few items for the evening meal. The words, Dragon Fruit, glared out at me like a bat signal screaming for immediate heroic attention.

Dragon Fruit? Can this truly be? How have I not heard of this before?

All these questions were flying through my brain as I approached the bin that held this mysterious fruit that claimed to belong to my precious dragon culture.

There they were, like tiny little dragon eggs, it had to be, if ever there were to be a fruit that heralds from a mighty, soaring, fire breathing beast - then this was it.

Take a gander...

Pretty cool, eh?

Apparently the Dragon Fruit originates from Mexico, and Central/South America. Only at night does it bloom white flowers that are sometimes called, Moonflower, or Queen Of The Night.

Peeling it was easy, I simply grabbed hold of the stalky, cactus like husk, and tore them downward and away from the fleshy pale inside of the fruit. I sliced it in half, and the the half's into halves, the juices sparkled amongst the tiny little seeds, much like the seeds you are used to finding in a Kiwi.

Anxiously I popped a piece into my mouth! What was it going to be like? Would there be a one in a million chance that the Dragon Fruit was going to transform me into some terrifying animal with tooth and nail and BBQ breath?

Sadly, no. In fact, after all the excitement from the name of this fruit and the way that it looked, I have to say that the taste was overall quite underwhelming. It didn't taste bad, it didn't taste good either. It just tasted like something cold and wet in my mouth. No sweet, no sour...just a chilled, gelatinous pulp that sat on my tongue.

Ah well. So be it. At least they look gnarly as hell, and now at least I am in the know in regards to the zanny Dragon Fruit - I just wished that it had forever changed my life.
